My name is Matt. I was born in Liverpool and I've had a lifelong interest in locks since I was a young boy.
My father, John, was a woodworking and metalworking teacher and taught me a lot about lock installation. I learned to open locks non-destructively following courses in 2004 and 2005 and I have been trading from Crosby since shortly after, starting the business with help from my dad, John, in 2006.
I take a pride in my work, in which I take a special interest in lever mortice locks old and new and it's a way of life for me.
Outside locksmithing, I'm a keen musician, playing guitar, piano, keyboards and the bass guitar.
